problems with the Philips CD 135 Solved

Hello,
all of a sudden my Philips CD 135 phone is displaying "SEARCH," this word is flashing continuously and the handset cannot connect to the base. The customer service from the store advised me to reset it, it seems to have lost its programming, but unfortunately, I can't do that. When I press the reset button on my phone, I get no response. If you know how to do it, please help me.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Good evening

here is a summary

press the base button for more than five seconds. It's the same button used to locate the handset. There should only be one button left on the base.

The light is blinking

Press the Menu button on the phone
then find the Reg.Avances menu
Press the menu button
then look for the SUBSCRIPTION menu
Press the menu button again,
enter the PIN code (by default it is 0000
then press the menu button one last time
IF it's correct, a long beep confirms the operation was successful

the handset is "unsubscribed."
So you need to take out the manual on page 32 and follow the procedure to subscribe the handset.

Press the base button for more than five seconds.
The indicator light flashes.
In the phone menu, look for "subscription."

If all goes well, a beep indicates it's working again.

Displayed envelope: You have one or more messages
To listen to them:
press the button at the bottom left (There is a black R and an orange icon symbolizing a cassette)

IMPORTANT: You must always press this button to use a function of the answering machine
then press button 2 to listen to the message

to delete press 6

to deactivate the answering machine press 9

in short, the orange icons correspond to the functions of the answering machine

To change the greeting
press the button at the bottom left (There is a black R and an orange icon symbolizing a cassette)
then press and hold button 4 to get a beep sound
Record your subliminal message
then press button 8

To listen to the greeting, press 5

In the same kind of problem, I just bought a duo of Philips CD 245 phones that I would like to associate with an AOLBOX that already has an AOL Phone. I followed the pairing procedure indicated. Well, I have my AOLPhone on handset 1 and my 2 Philips handsets on 2 and 3.
But when someone calls me, only the AOLPhone rings, the other two "Philips" do not ring, however, I can still answer with them and also make calls but there is no ringing for incoming calls... strange, isn't it???
Do you have any ideas because I'm stuck here????

Hello, I read your troubleshooting guide on the cd135. I have a bit of the same problem as everyone else.
The manual has been misplaced.
My issue is the non-functioning of the answering machine.
Let me explain.
I have found the function buttons for the answering machine with the recording button.
My message is well recorded, with button 4, and to end the announcement, 8, as you mentioned earlier.
In short, to activate the answering machine, I press the recording button and button 8 (on), and to delete it,
I press recording + button 9.
The light on the base turns on for on and off for off until now everything is going well.
But when I receive a call and I am in answering machine mode with the light on steady, a female voice tells me that the answering machine
is not in service. Several attempts have been made, and I don’t understand why, so I’m calling you for help
and thank you in advance for spending a few minutes with me.

Hi,

for the issue with linlin:
I think the simple answering option is activated, which means it won't take messages.
So I would try:

Menu button (top left)
Look for the "answering" menu
OK by pressing the Menu button
"Rep-simple" should appear on the screen
OK with the Menu button
and choose the "Deactivate" option
and again OK with the Menu button.
After that, the sweet female voice should give way to the melodic personal message.

I can't listen to the messages on the answering machine, the little envelope is flashing and a red beep is flashing too.
