Good evening everyone,
I have a very good HP C4580 printer, but for the first time, I see the message "paper jam" appearing. After performing the recommended steps from the HP help, nothing changes. Apparently, no piece of paper is stuck anywhere, I'm stuck...my printer too...
If anyone knows the solution to this issue, I would greatly appreciate their help... Thank you very much!
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Good evening,

you had a paper jam, you pulled on it, and you still have this message, that's what happened.

you have a tiny piece of paper in the printer, you need to disassemble it.

    Several solutions
    1. Restart the task.
    2. Use only one sheet.
    3. Go get your printer repaired (not recommended)
    4. Buy a new printer (recommended)

I have had this problem several times with a printer that
worked perfectly until it showed the same thing:
    paper jam.

The best solution for me is therefore to buy a new printer

    See you later

PS: I recommend Brothers, you are never disappointed with them, plus the task execution is very fast.

Thank you for your quick and efficient response, but it doesn't really help with my problem, and before considering replacing it, I would like to find a more effective workaround. I have already repeated the operation recommended by HP several times, and I have also tried with a single sheet.
To be continued, still hoping that someone knows a solution.
      Thank you.

Good evening, sometimes by passing a larger paper (or small cardboard), we can make it so that the jamming sensor is disengaged, give it a try, it won't hurt.

    Best regards

    Hi, I don't know.

But there must be a sensor resembling a flag that should be twisted

or I don't know where it is. But it is

    Best regards
