Hello, I have a Sony Xperia Z2, the screen has gone black too, and when I unlock it, I see my lock screen for 2 seconds and then the screen goes black again.

Hello, I have a Sony Xperia S and it won't turn on anymore; when I plug it in, a red light comes on but I still can't turn it on.
P.S.: The battery cannot be removed and there are no buttons.

If anyone has a solution, please let me know.

I have the same issue, the screen had already stayed black and didn’t respond sometimes but I would wait ten minutes, I would call myself, or I would plug my phone to charge and the screen would turn on, but last night it turned off because it ran out of battery and the screen doesn’t react at all anymore. The charging indicator showed me this morning that it was charged, it vibrates when I try to turn it on which proves that the phone reacts but the screen remains black :s Does anyone have a solution?

Yes. Well, yesterday I ran out of battery, my phone turned off. I charged it, but when I turned it on, the screen no longer responded.

Did it happen suddenly?

Hello, I've had my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact for 4 months and yesterday I put it on charge. When I came back to check on it, the red light indicated that it was charging but the battery was low, the phone was hot, the power button didn't activate the screen, and there was no access to the battery. I found the emergency off button and it turned off fine, but I can't turn it back on. I let it cool down all night, and this morning still nothing. I've plugged it back in to charge but the charging light won't come on and it won't turn on anymore. Does anyone have any idea?

Same problem since yesterday, my Xperia U turned off and neither the screen, the LED nor the notification bar seem to want to turn on:

- I removed my SIM card + the battery, put them back: nothing.
- I plugged my phone into the wall socket and via USB: nothing.
- I forced a restart by pressing POWER + Volume up: nothing.
- I installed Update Service: my phone doesn't appear in the list at all, repair impossible then.

And then I launched PC Companion in a last-ditch effort. I'm screaming, I'm crying, nothing connects. I press the POWER button on the phone and MIRACLE! It is recognized by PC Companion!
So it still doesn't solve the black screen issue, but at least I was able to update and make a backup...
It's going to the PSM repair shop (http://www.allopsm.fr) tomorrow, it's free as long as the phone is still under manufacturer warranty.

From everything I've read, Sony phones have quite a few bugs of this kind. Personally, I've had mine for just over a year and I still wonder how I manage to deal with such a clunky device.

Okay, so if it is still under warranty, you need to take it back to your dealer. Because there are no explanations, it's a bug.

My Sony Xperia M (C1905) won't turn on, and when I plug it in, a red button blinks and it displays the battery logo and then turns off.
