Good evening,

I just wanted to know if I can remove Vista from my Easynote ST86-M-021FR and replace it with

a less "demanding" OS, XP Pro would be perfect...

Best regards, Asquille
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.5.2

    Hello,
Have you found an answer? I bought the same laptop, I switched to Win7, but the graphics card isn’t working anymore, so I’m wondering if it wouldn’t be better to go back to XP altogether...

      Hello,

On a laptop, the graphics card driver is provided by the PC manufacturer and not by the graphics chip manufacturer.

So if Packard Bell only provides the driver for Vista, then it won't work any better with XP.

For consumer PCs in general, they only provide drivers for the system that was originally supplied.

You can try, but if it doesn't work, you'll need to revert to the original system to get the graphics card working properly.

      Good luck.
