Packard Bell factory release without restoration CD

Hello,
I would like to reset my Packard Bell Easy Note G1320 to factory settings. I don't have a recovery CD and I can't burn them from Smart Restore, simply because my burner isn't working anymore.
Packard Bell is offering to help me find a solution for 50 euros...
Is there any way to find these CDs for free or almost?
Or is there a way to restore factory settings without these CDs, please?
Thank you very much in advance!

I forgot to tell you that you can start a reinstall directly from the recovery partition by pressing F11 as soon as you turn on your PC (Packard Bell with XP).

It gives you more time to replace the burner...
