Hello,
I just bought a Thomson 37FE9234 LCD TV and I saw that there is a USB port. When I tried to plug in my USB stick to watch a movie, it didn't work. How can I get my USB stick to work, or what is the USB port on the TV for otherwise? Thanks.

I also have a Thomson, and for the USB key, you need to go to the menu then digital support
but apparently it can only read images and photos
you need to create a photo folder and an images folder on the key to be able to read them
I'm always trying to figure out how to read videos by trying to find the file playback format.

Hello,
I think I will join Poupogne's opinion. Following my research on the internet, I found the THOMSON 42FE9234 LCD TV 107 cm (42") which is from the same family as the 32FE9234 and after reading the specifications and especially the connections, I found this remark The USB port is only for maintenance. Not for playing multimedia files..
That's what I've come up with for now.
See you soon.

Hello again,
know that you can also connect digital devices (MP3 players, cameras and camcorders, external hard drives, USB flash drives) to stream audio, images, and video on your TV.
Here's a little preview for you, my friend.
But if you want to help me a bit with my research, could you list all the buttons on your remote control?

Hello again,
it doesn't matter if it's a girl or a boy, the main thing is that we're here to help each other, let's get back to the subject.
try plugging in your key and click on the T-LINK button.

try to get out of the menu you're talking about, av1 and 2 are for RCA connections, peritel, etc.
look directly on the remote control, you should surely find the USB icon. Otherwise, give me the brand and model of your Thomson, I'll do my best to help you.

Hi, I did some research to find a manual for your TV, but unfortunately, I found nothing!!!
But rest assured, I found what I mentioned earlier, it's through the USB port that it reads photos, audio, and movies even in high definition.
Also, know that you won't receive anything on the screen by plugging in your USB drive, it’s not the same system as the PC.
There's a special menu for USB that you will surely find by searching on the remote control.
But I'm still looking..... see you soon.

In my remote control, there are buttons for source and standby, list, tv, dvd, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, av, 0, --, fav., exit, menu, up, down, right, left arrows, and in the middle ok, guide, return, info, presets, mute, volume, program, lang (red button), subtitles (green button), a yellow button and a blue button for selecting tasks or pages of teletext, stop, text ???, stop, text, digital, T-LINK
just so you know, my friend, I am a girl.

I'm still sorry for you. Isn't there a CD included in the packaging with your TV when you bought it?
Good evening...
Please note that on many televisions, especially when the existence of this USB port is not mentioned in the advertisement (because that would be a plus that they wouldn't forget to highlight!), this port is only usable by customer service in case of a malfunction or problem...
Best regards,
See you later.

Le téléviseur 37fE9234 a effectivement une entrée USB, mais qui n'est pas multimédia, comme beaucoup d'autres téléviseurs, et qui ne me permet pas de lire des films ; seulement des photos et de la musique.
On the manual of this TV that I own, it is stated that the USB key is used to update the TV software and therefore cannot be used to read multimedia files. For that, you need to use the HDMI ports.
Hello everyone. I'm new here and I apologize for my intrusion.
I have a Thomson 37FE9234 94 cm from 2009. I would like to update the TV's software because, according to the images, the screen brightens and returns to normal immediately. I can't find any updates on the Thomson website and the hotline numbers don't work or are no longer in service.
I would like to know if anyone has a solution for my little issue.
A big thank you in advance to everyone.

According to the manual, the USB port is only used for updates.
