Hello,
One of my friends has a printer jammed due to a paper jam, the paper got stuck under the cartridge carrier which refuses to move. It is therefore impossible to remove it.
I spent the whole afternoon on it but nothing works and it seems nothing can be taken apart without removing at least one screw.
Do you have any advice, if so thanks in advance.

Hi, I just read your summer message about paper stuck in the Epson Stylus DX8450. I'm really starting to despair... I tried removing a few screws, but nothing works, I can't find it (it was a small sheet). If you could help me and tell me how you solved this problem, I would be very very grateful! The printer is no longer under warranty, or else I’d blow a fuse and dismantle it entirely so I wouldn’t know how to put it back together, or I’d just throw it away!! Hoping you can reply, M.

As I wrote before, it isn’t my printer but a friend's. It was still under warranty, so I chose to capitulate rather than risk jeopardizing the coverage.
However, her son fiddled with it forcefully and now the printer doesn’t work.
I suggest you carry your printer with you and go to a store that sells this brand. If they refuse to tell you how to intervene, it means they’re not cool.
