Hello,
I recently reinstalled 10.5 on my Mac Intel without formatting, and I noticed that the control panel for my Brother DCP750CW printer has disappeared. I searched in "Library/Utilities/Printer/Brother" but found nothing; the control center was gone.
So I downloaded the new drivers from the Brother website (including a new driver for the control center!!) and they wouldn't install. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, and now it's worse; the folder is missing (?).
Despite everything, I'm able to print. Honestly, I don't understand anything.
If someone can help me find my printer and its control center, I would be grateful.
Thank you all

Thank you HEP51, I keep this answer on hand because since then I have switched to Snow Leopard 10.6
after a "clean install" and... frankly, I really regret it because, since then: while the control center mysteriously reappeared on its own (strange!), everything else is completely messed up. In fact, it's not a good deal because my iMac has become worse than a PC with Windows; I can no longer remember all my passwords, the Mac has become unstable, it has slowed down, it freezes for no reason, if this continues I will format everything and go back to Leopard 10.5.
Personally, this "update" has only caused me problems. It's true that my Mac is a white 17' iMac from 2006 with 3GB of RAM and maybe that's where the problem lies!!!!
See you later.

Thank you all for your help. I found the control center and little by little my iMac has become stable again. I was able to add RAM, I'm at 4 GB while I was told that the white iMacs only recognize 3... so there you go! However, passwords with "mail" are still not saved, but I'm no longer using mail, so that's sorted.
Well, I've done everything as stated here
http://www.parkerwallace.com/BrotherControlCenterMacOSXLeopard
and it seems to be working better.
