TV stuck in standby mode

Question

Hello,  My Daewoo F20 F82 television is stuck in standby mode. Is it "finished," ready for the trash, or what should I do?  Thank you in advance for your insightful responses...  Athenaiys

Unplug all the power supplies from the TV so that the BIOS memory discharges because it's a bug that comes from d.a.e.w.o.o. All power supplies mean everything that could possibly provide a minimum amount of electrical charge. Minimum 48 hours.

Hi.This symptom is often a sign of a problem with the power supply.Unless you ask for a quote from the local TV repairman, I don't see what else to do.

I have the same problem with a Brandt using a Samsung tube, model 70S172. After being put on standby, it won't turn back on. Can anyone help me?
