[TV] adjust channels without remote control Solved

Hello!

I purchased a SHARP television model 37GQ20FP (that's the brand) and I would like to set the channels but the problem is that I don't have a remote control!!
Could you give me a solution, how do I set the channels?

But there are other manufacturers and other sellers. You need to look locally.

These devices can control several hundred different brands of televisions. Sharp is certainly one of them.

And is it really a remote to change the CHANNELS?? Because that's the function I want above all!! lol

Carrefour, Auchan, Conforama, Saturn, etc., certainly sell this type of equipment. As for saying that it's that one... Especially since it may not necessarily be the same one(s) for all stores of the same brand.

These remote controls provide all the functions that are available on the equipment they operate, but it is obvious that if a television set were, for example, not equipped for automatic station searching, they would not be able to ensure that function.

When buying your remote, make sure to ask if you can return it if you can't TUNE IN THE CHANNELS
Some TVs, despite having lots of buttons and types, are unable to tune in the channels
For certain Sony TVs, it's totally impossible if they work with the RM694 remote for example!!
All the remotes I've tried do everything EXCEPT tune in the channels, only the RM694 allows you to set the channels!!!
No experience with Sharp......

But there’s really no need to be a great technician to do it yourself. It’s just a simple channel adjustment and it’s something a 10-year-old can manage. I must say they were born with this technology and generally they handle it much better than most adults.

Do you still have the TV manual? It’s probably explained there. If you don’t have it anymore, please provide the model number of your TV; the manual can likely be downloaded from the Internet.

Hello, I just moved and I can't set up the channels on my TV (Toshiba)!   I lost the original remote control several years ago! So I turned to a Meliconi universal remote, but got no results! Then, I tested a Philips SRU 5010 universal remote! And still no results!   Is there a code for the TV for settings outside of the codes provided in the universal remote manuals? Since I no longer have the TV manual!   Thank you!!!!!!!

The simple and quick solution, although expensive: the Toshiba hotline. They even charge for the user manual!

Otherwise:

The Méliconi should work like it did before your move, except for the channel settings. If you have a code problem, this should help you find it easily.

The Philips codes for Toshiba: 0270, 0535, 0677, 0063, 0062, 0036, 0120, 0136, 0222, 0244, 0270, 0517, 0580, 0671, 0741, 1535, 1731. You will find them along with the manual on Philips support.

Channel settings are not a remote control issue but a television issue. The main difficulty is finding the button, or sometimes the combination of buttons, that allows you to access the Menu on the original remote and the correspondence between the buttons of the 2 remotes.
The most common case is the Menu button (or simply M) for both.

Hello, to be able to set the channels on a Sharp television, you need the original remote control. I had the same problem as you with a 56-inch Sharp.
