Continental Edison TV won't turn on

Hello, as the title says, my Continental Edison TV won't turn on. The red light is blinking like usual, but the screen stays black, whereas ten minutes earlier it was working perfectly. So what should I do?

Hello, good evening,
I took everything apart, I observed, took the power board apart, and I noticed that the connector powering the screen was poorly connected. I reconnected it properly, parallel, and put the power board back. Miracle, it works like new... check all the connections carefully, a jolt, and the connector gets misaligned and loses contact...

Hello, generally when the TV's diode is blinking and the TV won't turn on, it means the TV is in safety mode = internal problem
It has simply broken down
Head to customer service (once you have tried turning it on with one of the buttons located on the TV and tested your remote control with new batteries)
Another possibility: the lock mode has been accidentally activated: see the manual (possible but unlikely)

  I have the same problem, the red light is flashing, there is no image and the remote control is not working... (Continental Edison TV, new, about 6 months old). Is there a way to unlock it if it's a bad manipulation...? Or is it a malfunction...? I couldn't find anything in the manual... Thank you very much for your response.

I have the same issue except for one difference: there is no red light that normally comes on with the TV, but neither the red light nor the TV wants to turn on now.

  The power supply of your TV is probably completely dead.
  If you have good knowledge of electronics, it can be repaired by yourself if the issue is simple (or call a friend who is passionate about electronics).
  Before repairing, you need to search for and identify the fault(s).
  Without knowledge or at least minimal measuring equipment, it’s an impossible mission.
  "Fiddling around" in a TV without knowing where you're going is risky for you and the TV.
  It’s all too easy to break other components in the TV while attempting a haphazard intervention.

It happens to me when I schedule a recording on an external drive and that recording doesn't take place. After that, there's no way to turn the TV back on.

Solution : unplug/replug the TV, quite simply.
