Diamond 2450 Packard Bell scanner driver

Hello, I have a serious problem. I was given a Packard Bell Diamond 2450 scan pack, but without the installation CD. The issue is that even searching the internet I can't find it except on Packard Bell's site, which is the tricky part, it doesn't work. It launches some kind of installation that lasts barely half a second, but my scanner still doesn't install, and I have to admit I don't know what to do anymore.

    For info I even called Packard Bell support and they themselves aren’t able to help me find functional drivers for my scanner, claiming it’s too old. I’m left with a scanner that’s unusable for the moment; I haven’t even found a compatible driver for it.
