Bonjour, voici la traduction : Hello, here is my problem. I have a laptop (running Vista) with a Wi-Fi connection and an old desktop with Windows 98 (without internet).
I would like to recover photos from my Windows 98 to my laptop. Basically, I want to use the Windows 98 as an external hard drive.
Is this possible? If so, how?
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

There is the "file and settings transfer" application.

And how do you use it?
How do you connect the two PCs?
Is it downloaded or is it already in Windows?

Wait, wait... You went a bit far!!! ;)

You need to have a floppy disk first!

Does your Windows 98 PC have a network connection or not?

If not, the easiest solution is to buy an external enclosure for a 3.5" IDE hard drive (or PATA or ATA, but not SATA, your computer is too old).
You open the Windows 98 PC, take out its hard drive, put it in the enclosure, and connect it to your laptop, and you're good to go!
