If it really starts, you should be able to test it even without a screen, by using only the keyboard

for example, play a sound
open the disk drive with the system
connect to another computer
or simply shut it down

once Windows is launched, you can press the Windows key + R at the same time and type shutdown -s

by default, the PC restarts 30 seconds after that

If you confirm that the PC does start up and it is just the screen that is black, you have plenty of solutions to copy your data

if it’s not the screen, I hardly see what it could be, it should at least display the BIOS screen at the very beginning and not always be black

After that, there is the option of removing the disk, connecting it to another PC, and simply recovering the data
