Hello,

I’m trying to connect to a public wireless network with my laptop but it’s not working. Windows diagnostics asks me to unplug the router and plug it back in, but I have no idea what this router is! can you help me? thanks in advance

    Hello,

To put it simply, the router is the box you have at home (SFR Box, Freebox, Livebox, ...).

When you connect to a public wireless network, you connect to a router that doesn’t belong to you and to which you don’t have access, so you can’t unplug it and plug it back in as your Windows asks.

Hello, I have the same problem: my PC says I have no network access. They told me (1. Unplug the router
      2. Wait 10 seconds
      3. Plug the router back in). I went to my Freebox but I didn’t see anything indicating “router.” If you have any idea, please respond quickly, thanks.
