Hello,
I'm trying to install Vista on my USB stick, so far so good, but in the process, it asks me to select my USB stick using Diskpart in the CMD. Up to this point, everything is fine, but when I want to select my USB stick, it is not recognized, even when I do "list disk," it doesn't show up, while it is visible in the file explorer.
Thanks for your replies as I need to format a PC quickly!
Cheers!

Response found on: http://www.pcinpact.com/forum/index.php?s=b18a5cc495e2f039f18b490eca4271fd&showtopic=133205&st=20

Download this file http://heffebaycay.vossey.net/oi/xpfildrvr1224_320.zip
Go to the properties of your USB drive,
Hardware tab,
select your drive, then properties, then driver tab,
choose update driver,
check the box yes this time only, choose install from a list or specific location,
check the last box "don't search I will choose the driver to install"
select the "have disk" button then browse, and choose the location of the cfadisk.inf file, which you will find in the xpfildrvr1224_320.zip file that you just downloaded,
I hope this is clear enough, good luck.
And in fact, you will need to restart afterwards and your drive will be recognized as a hard drive, you will be able to partition it and install Windows on it, there you go!

Hello, I am testing you with 2 USB drives, and I get the message that the assistant cannot find a better driver for my device.

Does anyone have a solution?

Tested USB drives: Kingston DataTraveler II Plus mIgo and Transcend JF V30 / 8GB

You need to use Diskpart from a Win7.
