Hello! I can't connect to Wi-Fi on my MacBook, I don't understand why.
I've activated AirPort on my computer and Wi-Fi on my Livebox (through 192.168.1.1), but when I select it from the detected networks, it doesn't work (connection failed)!
What am I missing to make it work?
Thank you for your help...

Hi SMack,
I also have a MacBook and I connected it to my Livebox without any problems. If you have the Livebox manual, you need to follow the instructions for Mac. In your network preferences, when it detects your box, it should prompt you to pair with it. For this, you need to press the little pairing button under the Livebox for 3 seconds until it starts blinking. It will stay in pairing mode for about 5 minutes. During this time, you need to enter your WIFI key, which is either on a sticker in your manual or you can find it under your Livebox; it’s a long alphanumeric code in groups of 4. In your Mac, you have to enter the entire code continuously without spaces and in uppercase.
So normally, by fiddling with something like that, it should work.
As for the Airport, I never disable it to avoid complications.
Good luck
Ciao

Hi, I have a similar problem...
My MacBook doesn't detect my Wi-Fi network from my Livebox.
It is emitting fine, I checked, but I don't see it in "Airport".
I've tried everything, creating a new one, network search, pairing button...
HELP!!!!!!
Thank you
I do have a lead though:
It's an "Inventel". In the settings, there's "associated devices" but we can't modify them...

Good evening,
I don't have a Livebox,
but I think the problem might be that this Livebox is not paired with your Mac.
Check these pages from Orange support:

Good luck
