EBP ERROR 94

Hello,
please help me.
When I try to add my computer with 1 WIN Vista after the installation, it shows error 94 when I open the folder that is on the main computer which also has WIN Vista, and both have the same version of EBP v11. I should mention that there are already 2 WIN XP machines connected to the main computer.
I may be getting confused during the installation. So I would like to know: when I do the installation, should I put
z:\users\public\documents\EBP\ folders
or z:\folders
Now should I install the PERVASIVE engine before or after the installation of EBP?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
I'm going to do what you told me, but my second issue is during the installation, should I choose the location
z:\users\public\documents\EBP\ folders
or z:\folders (Z represents the network drive)

it was simply a problem with the firewall
after disabling it on each workstation it worked
and reactivating it it still works
