Error 4083 pervasive - ebp

Hello,
I work with EBP software. The database is on a server, and the programs are installed locally on each machine. When I launch one of the EBP software (accounting, business management, or payroll), I often get the following error message:
"error 4083 during the installation of Pervasive.SQL licenses"...... I click OK and the applications open and work correctly!!
What’s going on? What can I do?

    Hello,

    You need to uninstall Pervasive SQL Workgroup and then System Analyzer via the Add/Remove Programs, then reinstall it using the EBP CD (in the help).

      Hello, I just encountered this issue with one of my clients. After contacting EBP support, the problem comes from EBP Betrieve, which conflicts with the Pervasive SQL engine.
      Therefore, you also need to uninstall EBP Betrieve, as well as both Pervasive SQL and Network products, then reinstall only Pervasive SQL and Network.

      I feel like this was done intentionally by EBP to charge for maintenance; apparently, we all have the same problem.

      Note for future readers: this error also occurs when the Pervasive.SQL services are stopped (in my case in client/server)
