I can't read bin and cue files, can someone help me? thanks everyone

The .bin and .cue files are respectively a CD image (so a sort of exact copy of a CD in the form of a file) and the .cue file is the reading key for the tracks (if I remember correctly). The .bin / .cue files are not "read" per se but are managed by burning programs (Nero Burning Rom being one of them) or virtual disk readers (like Daemon Tools, same citation). If you want to read the content but don’t have a burner, go download Daemon Tools (free).  And if you want to burn your CD image, well, you need a burner and of course the burning program that goes with it.  Nero Burning Rom (not free but unlimited demo version in use but limited in days)  There are others of course but look for a bit yourself, and manage with these programs I’m not going to explain them to you, lazybones.  ^^  ~Aïki~

Hello, I have the same problem as you. When I install my game, it tells me to insert CD 2, so I burned the image of the CD "setup-2.bin". I insert my burnt CD, but it still doesn't work. What should I do?  Please, thank you.

For my part, I would like to use Daemon Tools, but apparently, it's not working...  After installation, where it successfully found a drive (which I can see in the device manager), I noticed that the drive is not added in the Windows Explorer... I cannot mount any files!!  No letter assigned to the logical drive, anyway, if someone knows for what reason(s)?  P.S.: I tried adding a second virtual drive; it appears in Explorer during initialization (Daemon Tools... please wait) and it asks for a reboot. After the restart: nothing in Explorer!  Thanks in advance.

Re...   I found the answer on my own!   So for those who might be wondering why the drive doesn't want to appear, it may actually be due to the SP2 version of XP; you need to go to the device manager, update the virtual drive driver, and look for the files cdrom.inf and cdrom.sys (c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386)   See you!

To read a bin file, simply change the file extension to .mdf or .iso and mount the image with alcohol 120.

It's very simple, you need to install the conversion software called Bpoweramp Music Converter
after the installation
right-click on the file 0000000000.wv and select convert all

I am using Windows XP SP3, I just downloaded Deamon version 4.30.4. The software seems to work well, it mounts the disk image but Windows won't open it.

Error message: "The disk is not formatted. Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk may be damaged or it may use a format that is not compatible with Windows."

What should I do?

Hello, I also have this problem with a game and I can't exploit it. Let me explain: I have .cue and .bin files for 3 CDs. I burned the .bin and .cue file for CD1 onto a CD, but Windows doesn't launch the game's installation; it opens it as a data storage device. Should I only use the .bin file? I tried using ISO Buster to extract everything, and Windows launched the installation, but when I tried to start the game with the shortcut on the desktop, it told me to insert the CD. I tried using no-CD cracks, but nothing worked!!!!! Help me please. When it comes to Daemon Tools, I don't understand how it works. Please help me.
If anyone knows a well-made tutorial explaining how to do this or a program that does everything correctly, or if I’m missing a small step, please let me know.

For cue files, you need to use Medieval Cue Splitter, which will separate the files that make up the cue. Generally for CDs.
