Using Livebox with Akeo operator

Hello,
I have a friend who is lending me his Sagem livebox because he changed operators and I want to sign up with Akeo. I wanted to know if there are any issues using the livebox modem to get an internet connection with Akeo.
I'm not very knowledgeable about modems, so I would appreciate if you could let me know if it's possible or if there are any steps to make the livebox operational for a connection other than Orange?
I hope I was clear, but it's not really easy to explain; if you have any questions, feel free to ask!!

Thank you for your answers,
Yoillo.

Here is the translation: "So here is even the kind of response woven with heaps of snippets found here and there, with the aim of denigrating an old company, and a man who withdrew from French business about ten years ago...

Indeed, this name 'Godzich' belongs to a man who launched a multi-level marketing business called in 1986 the GEPM (European Group of Marketing Professionals). A defector from Amway, JG was ousted by Amway, and set up the GEPM in France based on an existing model that works in the States, but which was not compatible in France...American-style management, with motivation, self-improvement work, and somewhat esoteric aspects, this copy-paste from the United States was unable to work in France. The GEPM was accused of being a cult (one had to see the big exposure by ADFI at the time and Jeannine Tavernier). At the height of its activity (selling cosmetics, maintenance, insurance, fashion, etc... in collaboration with major names in the field...), JG set up a cycling team (the Group) that made a splash subtly (enrollment of Luc Leblanc, world champion in the mid-90s, winning the French cyclo-cross championship (Jérôme Chiotti), recruitment of major cycling stars of the time: Lino, Pensec, Arnout...).

All these successes aroused jealousy: Cyrille Guimart from the Casto team... but also the curiosity of the media... the sudden nature of a success...Investigations...suspicion of being a cult, pyramid selling... GEPM dismantled, court... GEPM beheaded... then took the name of FAR and later, thanks to a new management team, took the name AKEO...

Today, AKEO is a mail order company that has joined the FEVAD and is recognized... It wholesales the same products as the GEPM (preserving the historical Purchasing Center of Fleury sur Andelle in Eure). AKEO also sells telephone and triple-play solutions in the most legal way... It is an alternative operator.

JG has nothing to do with AKEO anymore... He now lives in Texas where he enjoys peaceful days far from his homeland... A ch'ti in the sun of oilmen.

I think it was necessary to reestablish a somewhat unknown truth.
I am not an AKEO distributor, I am a freenaute, but I had the chance to experience the GEPM and closely follow the success of AKEO... I assure you, I was not baptized by Wlad by immersion, and my brain was not destroyed by reading the personal and professional development literature sold by the GEPM to improve the efficiency of distributor networks.

      To a good listener, greetings!"

BRAVO, that’s a response... I was an ambassador at the Group, and all the companies I founded afterwards succeeded thanks to this extraordinary training... stay good French, stay poor and skeptical... you will never understand what success is, it is above all a surpassing of oneself... you will never understand anything about it.

Success is unwelcome in France, long live the 35-hour workweek, slight increase in the minimum wage in 2011. This increase would allow them to earn 17 euros more net per month (1073 euros instead of the current 1056 euros). Yess

Bravo epilonos ! I completely agree with the facts you present, and they are perfectly accurate. It's a shame that there are always some "small-minded" people who think they know everything and only know the "hearsay" spread by Mr. or Mrs. SureSource! Like parrots, they repeat without really understanding what they are saying. Obviously, the less jam you have, the more you spread it!

    Hello,

I don't think you can use the Livebox to connect to an ISP other than Orange.

Hello, if you want to get an Akéo connection, you will still receive a modem (box) and the installation is very easy with the CD provided as well.

I confirm! It's better to take the modem provided by the operator you subscribe to.
Especially if you're not very knowledgeable about it (unless it's a challenge lol).
Honestly, take the modem provided by the supplier; otherwise, you risk not being able to fully use the services offered.

The Livebox Akeo works on the SFR network, so I don't see where the problem is; it works like any other operator.
