Je suis sous debian sur un machine virtuel.
Mon vsftp fonctionnai tres bien il y a 6 jours.
J'ai arreté de l'utiliser depuis mais la, jen ai besoin mais il ne fonctionne plus.
Quand je tappe l'URL de ma machine virtuel il me sort le fameux "404..."
J'ai donc voulu faire la commande /sbin/service vsftpd restart mais il me dit aucun fichier ou repertoire de ce type.
En effet dans le dossier /sbin je n'ai pas de fichier vsftpd...
Pourtant quand je fais apt-get install vsftpd il me dit bien que j'ai deja la derniere MAJ.
Voyez vous ou peut etre le probleme?
Un detail: je me souvien avoir fait un lien pour que ce ne soient pas les fichiers contenu dans "www" qui soient lu mais ceux d'un autre dossier que j'ai supprimé. peut etre la le prob.

apt-get remove vsftpdIl faut lire man apt-get pour voir les options

Si tu cherches, en tant que root vsftpd :
find / -iname vsftpd ?
Si tu trouves un executable, passe par lui pour lancer le serveur
Si tu ne trouves rien, désintall et réinstall (on peut toujours rêver)
As tu essayé de recréer le dossier que tu as supprimé ?

Usage: find [-H] [-L] [-P] [CHEMIN...] [EXPRESSION]
Voila ce que ça mme donne.

Il faut faire en root

/etc/init.d/vsftpd restartSinon pour l'info le binaire vsftpd se trouve dans /usr/sbin

merci, en effet ça a bien restart mon server.
Par contre je n'ai toujours pas acces au ftp.
Quand je tappe l'ip de mon serv, ça me met un 404.
Saurais tu d'ou pourrai venir le probleme?
