Hello,
I have retrieved a Word document in which a horizontal line appears that I cannot delete. It is neither a border nor, apparently, a footer separator... When I hover the cursor over it, it can be moved like to modify the margins (you see???). It appears in all display forms except in "outline" mode.
Do you have any solutions??????????Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
If you can move it, it must be a border. To catch it:
If there are other borders you want to keep,
If it was a line with two small circles at each end when you selected, you would have seen that you could delete it with the "Delete" key?
Otherwise I don't see.

If you can move it, it must be a border. To catch it:
- select your document with CTRL + A and request no border.
If there are other borders you want to keep,
- first display the paragraph marks (with the reversed P from the toolbar),
- request no border by selecting the previous paragraph, the one with the line, and the one after,
If it was a line with two small circles at each end when you selected, you would have seen that you could delete it with the "Delete" key?
Otherwise I don't see.
