How to reset sd card switch

Hello,
I have a serious problem. I bought a Lexar 8 GB SD card... But when I try to take pictures, it says <memory card="" is="" protected="" the="" switch="" on="">... Is it possible to reset the switch on the card?
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

On the side of your SD card, you should have a small notch like a switch that you can slide up or down, change its position.
