SD card "write protected"

Hello,
I just bought a 1 GB SD card to use in a digital photo frame. It is a PANASONIC SD CLASS2 model.
I insert it into the camera and everything works fine. I insert it into my laptop with XP and everything is fine. But I cannot delete files once copied to my hard drive and I cannot copy files onto it either. An error message states that it is "Write protected."
I have been trying since Christmas and I cannot use it as I want.
I look forward to your advice. Thank you in advance. For your information, I am very, very new to this.
See you soon.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    Hi
    it's really simple
on the side of the SD card there is a small write protection tab
just slide it and it's good

I tried my best but nothing works. Whether at the top or the bottom, it is always write-protected.
      Sorry...
