Horizontal stripes on photos

Hello everyone,
I searched in the previous posts without success for the answer to my question, so I am creating a new post for my problem.
I have had a Casio Exilim camera for about 2 years. It was working very well, and for the past few days, I find that the photos are a bit reddish, and when I display them on my PC, there are fine horizontal stripes across the entire photo.
I performed a reset; the reddish appearance has slightly faded, but the stripes are still there.
For your information, the last photo taken that didn't have this issue was a close-up of a face... I'm afraid that this photo triggered the problem.
I am considering sending it for repair because it is a very good camera, and I do not want to replace it. Before that, I would like to know if anyone has experienced this problem.
Thank you in advance!

I'm not really sure if this is what you need to do, but I had the same problem with my printer, so I dampened the small sponge that is located in the printer under the cartridges, and the stripes disappeared.

Doesn't this camera belong to the long list of cameras that had a glue defect that oozes onto the sensor?!?

Hello, I have the same problem: very bright photos, with horizontal stripes, almost two years after purchase. Have you found a solution to get it repaired? Is it due to a manufacturing defect?
Thank you.-

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I’ve had a Casio EX-Z110 for a few years now, but one day it just started taking very bright photos with quite pronounced horizontal stripes. Is this a common issue? Is it better to buy another one? How can I repair it, if it's possible...? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you in advance!
