Photos disorganized after transfer to computer!

Hello; One thing worries me, after transferring photos from my SDHC card to the computer
the order of them is completely changed. Indeed, a series of photos taken at
the same time ends up, every time, on the computer, scattered and we find some of these
photos among other sequences taken on different days! Is this mixing normal?

Device: Panasonic DMC FZ50 (I can't find anything in the manual to justify it) Thank you again

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello,

    Isn't it simply the way Windows Explorer has classified them that worries you?

    For example, if alphabetical order is chosen, it's logical that the new ones get mixed up with the old ones!

    To choose the type of sorting: right-click in a blank area of the folder, "Arrange icons by" and choose "Modified" or even better "Date taken" if it's offered!

    Note that if the sorting order is the opposite of what you wanted, just repeat the operation and the sorting will be reversed!

      Thank you, Maxou, for your prompt reply. Indeed, I hadn't thought about the classification in Windows Explorer.
      Since I am not at home right now, I plan to test it when I return home (where I still don't have ADSL internet). So, not being able to write to you soon, I would like to express my gratitude again for your quick and surely accurate response. The Rolling 17
