Hello,
The image embedded in my signature (GIF format) appears completely blurry upon receipt of the message in Outlook, even though it looks very good when composing the message! I tried changing the image to JPG format, but the problem persists! Does anyone know what causes this loss of quality when sending and how to resolve this issue?
Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,
This link will be very useful to you, it's in English but it solved my problem in an instant:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/unsharpimages.htm
To make it simple:
Download the IrfanView software
The IrfanView software: http://www.irfanview.com/
Open IrfanView
Copy your image
Open your image in the software
Ctrl + R
DPI: 96
OK
Save your image
Outlook forces images to be 96dpi... hence your problem
Have a nice day -
I may have found a solution to this problem.
For me, the image was displayed enlarged and blurry as soon as I created a signature. (even before sending it)
In Photoshop,
1) I press CTRL (or COMMAND) + ALT + SHIFT + S
2) I set JPEG 100% as the format
3) I uncheck the "Optimized" box
4) I save
And then, the image displays correctly in Outlook.
Apparently, it was the "optimized" checkbox that caused my problem.
Hovering over it, I saw this message: "Creates smaller files but less compatible." -
Hello,
I have the same problem:
I just received my logo in AI format, and when exporting it to .PNG, .BMP, or .JPEG to integrate it into my Outlook 2013 signature, I tried two methods but ended up with the same result: after sending an email, I lose quality on the logo (it appears blurry).
The methods I used:
- I created my signature via Word 2013 by inserting the logo and manually adjusting its size to fit the text; then I copied the final result into the signature configuration in Outlook.
- I directly inserted the image via Outlook into the signature configuration, but it is impossible to adjust the size of the logo.
It's quite frustrating; can anyone help me?

Hi Hulong, I have the same problem as you, have you found an answer to your problem since January?
If so, I would be grateful if you could share it with me

Hi forum!
I manage a computer park with 25 identical computers, all running the same Outlook 2010. I have this problem with only 3 users... When I insert the image while designing the signature, it appears enlarged and blurry. It remains enlarged and blurry when they send the email as well. I don't have Photoshop to try Lain95's trick, but I seriously doubt it would work. I believe the issue is related to a custom setting of the user, but I can't find which one...
Thanks in advance to the genius who will know! -
Hello,
in 2010, it can happen, personally I go through Word, I create my signature and properly place my image.
Once the signature is done in Word, copy/paste directly into the signature in Office 2010, which is causing issues. -
