Blurred second screen in Dualscreen

Hello everyone,
Here I am, posting a LITTLE message because I have a LITTLE problem (that really annoys me). Me? An insult?! Never!
Anyway, the issue is as follows: I have a computer, a monitor, and... a second monitor connected to that same computer.

The thing is, my main monitor (A LG FLATRON L225WS) is perfectly clear, no worries there. However, my second monitor, a Yusmart 178MP, is quite blurry and, um... I’d like to avoid straining my eyes unnecessarily (especially since they’re already starting to get tired...).
My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD4850 so I have two DVI outputs. So, the first screen - the LG - (which has a VGA output) is connected to the computer via a VGA-DVI adapter, and the second screen (the one that’s blurry, the Yusmart), is connected the same way but through an extension (basically, its VGA output is connected to a VGA extension that is itself connected to another VGA-DVI adapter, plugged into the second DVI output of the computer).

Um, I tried to fiddle with the display properties in the desktop settings (control panel or right-click on the desktop), but nothing works. My second screen is still blurry.

Another note: I recently changed my computer and monitor, so I had never tested this old Yusmart 17" on my new computer until today (but on my old one, it worked perfectly... zero blur).

Do you know how I could solve this blurriness issue on my second screen (considering that I don’t have access to the Refresh Rate in Settings/Advanced/Graphics there, and that the resolution - currently at 1182x864 - doesn’t change anything...).

Thank you!!!
Configuration: Windows XP Mozilla Firefox 3

Hi.

First of all, extension cables aren’t great, and then have you tried reversing the connections, on the PC or the screen, to determine if the issue is with the GPU or the screen...

Are the graphics drivers up to date?
