Prince of Persia and Xbox 360 Controller

Hello,

Wanting to replay Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on PC, I thought it would be better to play it with a controller.
But unfortunately, the prince refuses to run unless I push the left stick hard in the direction I want to go.
I then tried it with Devil May Cry 4 where the problem doesn't occur.
Is this a compatibility issue between PoP and the XBOX 360 controller? Has anyone here found a solution?
Thanks for your responses (if there are any).

Hi, there could be a problem between the game and the controller. I have a PS3 controller to play on PC and I can't with Crysis; you need an Xbox one. So it’s possible that for you it’s the opposite o_O.

Perhaps I'll be doomed to play the keyboard...

After doing some research, I found a software that allows you to play with a gamepad on any game, it's called xpadder, which allows you to assign keyboard keys to the gamepad, explaining its universal compatibility.

With that said, have fun gaming.
