Word - field/field codes issue

Hello,

lately when I open documents sent to me by email, the fields do not display but instead I see { FORMTEXT } in gray. When I right-click, Word does not give me the option to toggle the fields.

This issue is specific to my PC because on other computers in the office there is no problem.

For your information, I am using Word 2003. I installed the Word 2007 compatibility pack. I recently uninstalled it, but my problem persists.

    Hello,

    The installation of the 2007 pack has nothing to do with the issue.

    Press Alt+F9 and that should fix your problem.
