My correspondent is not receiving my SMS/texts. What should I do? Solved

Hello,I've been dealing with this problem for quite some time, let me explain. I have a recipient who does not receive my SMS, however, I do receive the delivery report. There’s no issue if I call them, the problem really lies with the SMS function. This person can send me SMS without a problem and also call me: I read that some have called customer service but didn’t manage to...I haven’t read about a solution, do you have any information? I had the same problem as you, and here's the solution I found (hoping it will help you). I have a Samsung, and in the messages menu => settings => SMS => blocked numbers, there was the recipient's number who wasn't receiving my messages (it got there due to a mishap when deleting a received message). Remove it from the blocked numbers list and it will work again!
If the problem comes from there, of course!

I have this problem too!!! My best friend doesn't receive my texts, I get the delivery report: sent and I can call her and she can call me and she can also send me texts, I read them! I'm with NRJ Mobile and she's with SFR... my sister and my other friend are with SFR and they receive them... Help me, it's really annoying!!!

I also have the same issue with a friend and it's quite a hassle: we can call each other, she can send me messages which I receive without any problem, but she hardly receives any of my messages. She only gets them if I send the same one multiple times..

I've found the solution to my question: actually, I just had to change my SIM card! You keep your number and your contacts, you just change the card and it's perfect ;)

I have an LG new chocolate bl20, he has an iPhone, we are both with Orange, and for months now, I receive his good night text the next morning, or even in the afternoon. Hello,

Just take another phone from your home. Remove your SIM card, put it in the other phone, wait to receive all the messages, and then put your SIM card back in your usual mobile phone, there you go :) I also have the same issue, my girlfriend is with Bouygues and I’m with SFR. I have a problem that is similar to yours. I receive my messages with a delay. For example, my boyfriend will send me a message at 4:09 PM and I only receive it later when he sends me a second message. At that point, I receive both messages at once.

According to my tests, it's SFR that is blocking. I'm with Orange and everything works fine until I send to certain SFR numbers. Orange receives SFR's acknowledgment and sends it back to us, yet the message is not sent from SFR to the targeted phone! This happens once every three times and sometimes every two, so SFR is rubbish!

In my circle, the person who doesn't always receive my texts has a phone that malfunctions quite regularly. It could also be the recipient's fault. In my case, it's SFR plans + not-so-great phone. I don't know if there's a way to fix this issue; we would need to test different phones with the same SIM card. And if there's no change, I can't see any other culprit than the operator... So I have the same problem, I send a text message, I receive the acknowledgment, but the person does not receive my messages So I just finished my phone call with my network which is SFR, and they told me, after 10 minutes of waiting (great --"), that the problem came from my recipient since I was receiving the acknowledgments, so the recipient needs to call their network line for a possible SMS setting adjustment, and that on the other hand if you send a text message and you do not receive the acknowledgment, well that is a problem with your phone, so an adjustment is needed, with the help (if you wish) of SFR  I hope I have helped you :)  Have a nice day :)

I'm not receiving SMS correctly from one of my correspondents on Bouygues.

- When he sends me SMS while my phone is on the network, I receive them just fine.

- However, when he sends me SMS while my phone is off the network (no signal or turned off), I don't receive the SMS immediately once I regain signal; in fact, they arrive 12 hours after they were sent (even if it's been more than 10 hours since I got the network back).

Is the issue coming from my correspondent's operator or mine?

I'm with Prixtel and my number was ported from Lycamobile, but the issue existed while I was with Lycamobile and persists with Prixtel!

Hello, So I have an LG Optimus L7 and for the past 2 days I haven't been receiving SMS from a particular person, while they receive mine. I can call them and they can call me too. Good evening  What operator do you have?  Has the recipient put your number on the reject call list? In that case, your calls and texts are being refused. Check their phone settings (or in the customer area, for example, for Free)!  This happened to me, I changed my phone number... because no operator (Lycamobile then Prixtel) could solve the problem. Hello, I had the same problem, and eventually I found all the messages in the spam folder.
The number from which I wasn't receiving texts was in the spam list; once I deleted it, everything went back to normal.
