Hello,
I've been dealing with this problem for quite some time, let me explain.
I have a recipient who does not receive my SMS, however, I do receive the delivery report. There’s no issue if I call them, the problem really lies with the SMS function.
This person can send me SMS without a problem and also call me:
I read that some have called customer service but didn’t manage to...
I haven’t read about a solution, do you have any information?
Thank you in advance and good evening.
Best regards,

I had the same problem as you, and here's the solution I found (hoping it will help you). I have a Samsung, and in the messages menu => settings => SMS => blocked numbers, there was the recipient's number who wasn't receiving my messages (it got there due to a mishap when deleting a received message). Remove it from the blocked numbers list and it will work again!
If the problem comes from there, of course!
Good luck!

Hello, I have exactly the same problem when I send texts to my boyfriend, he doesn't receive them while I get the delivery receipt successfully; however, when he sends me texts, I receive them just fine, as well as the calls (he is with SFR and I am with Bouygues).
Hello,
I also have the same issue with a friend and it's quite a hassle: we can call each other, she can send me messages which I receive without any problem, but she hardly receives any of my messages. She only gets them if I send the same one multiple times..
If anyone knows the solution, I'm all ears!!..

same mess. My contact is SFR and I’m with Orange. I receive her messages, but she doesn't receive mine. We went to SFR, which checked both our phones, and the same at Orange, and since they are tearing their hair out, they tell us there are network issues, call customer service; Orange claims there’s a node (that’s their wording) in the network. We’re despairing!!!! What to do? Change provider? Help!!!!!!!!
Is it a number starting with 07?
Because a friend is sending me texts from a phone starting with 07 and when I use the Reply function, his number switches to 06 and then someone else receives my message! Yet in my contacts, my friend is correctly saved with a 07. And this only happens with one person.
Where could this problem come from??

Me, on the other hand, I can send messages to a recipient and he receives them, but I don't receive his texts.
Anyone found a solution? I have the same problem, my friend doesn't receive my texts whenever her phone feels like it.
Hello,
Just take another phone from your home. Remove your SIM card, put it in the other phone, wait to receive all the messages, and then put your SIM card back in your usual mobile phone, there you go :) I also have the same issue, my girlfriend is with Bouygues and I’m with SFR. In my opinion, the problem comes from the network, not the phones. Best regards.

I had the same issue receiving text messages. All the ones from my girlfriend weren't coming through, even though she had just changed her phone. While reading forums, I found that almost everyone has this problem with someone close to them. I checked my phone settings and found that SMS from my girlfriend's number were blocked. Surprise! Because I would never have done that. But maybe an accidental action in my pocket with the keypad unlocked. Since the last called or saved number was my girlfriend's, the action was taken "without my knowledge" on that one number.
I’m relieved and maybe you will be too if you have this problem.
Best regards

I have this problem too!!! My best friend doesn't receive my texts, I get the delivery report: sent and I can call her and she can call me and she can also send me texts, I read them! I'm with NRJ Mobile and she's with SFR... my sister and my other friend are with SFR and they receive them... Help me, it's really annoying!!!
Hello, I had the same problem, and eventually I found all the messages in the spam folder.
The number from which I wasn't receiving texts was in the spam list; once I deleted it, everything went back to normal.
Give it a try :)

Hello,
I have the same problem for a few days with Orange.
My Orange contacts receive my messages just fine.
On other networks, no SMS is received and I have not received any delivery reports.
Thank you for your responses.

Bonjour, j'envoie un message mais la personne ne le reçoit pas. J'ai un LG KU990I. Pourriez-vous m'aider, s'il vous plaît, avec ce problème ?
Hello everyone, I have a problem with my LG KP500, my boyfriend has an IPhone and he's not receiving all my texts, apparently it mostly bugs when my text exceeds the size of a single SMS and he’s the only recipient I have this issue with. When it works, I get the delivery confirmation but otherwise I don’t receive it. Do you have an explanation? A solution?
Hysterical!
I have the same problem as you!
I send a 1-page SMS to a contact, everything works perfectly (I receive the delivery receipt and the SMS is transmitted correctly) but if I send a 2-page SMS, I receive the delivery receipt but the SMS is not received!!!
I’m with Orange, using an ASUS p552W, with an M6 mobile plan.
I've been having this problem for a few days now!
Are you with Orange?

Hello,
I'm not receiving SMS correctly from one of my correspondents on Bouygues.
- When he sends me SMS while my phone is on the network, I receive them just fine.
- However, when he sends me SMS while my phone is off the network (no signal or turned off), I don't receive the SMS immediately once I regain signal; in fact, they arrive 12 hours after they were sent (even if it's been more than 10 hours since I got the network back).
Is the issue coming from my correspondent's operator or mine?
I'm with Prixtel and my number was ported from Lycamobile, but the issue existed while I was with Lycamobile and persists with Prixtel!
Do you have any idea?

Hi,
thank you for providing all those solutions, but none of them work for my phone (it's mainly because I can't find the indicated places) ....

I've found the solution to my question: actually, I just had to change my SIM card! You keep your number and your contacts, you just change the card and it's perfect ;)

Hello everyone, I have the same problem. I am with Proximus (Belgium), my husband is in Algiers but he also has a Belgian SIM card with Proximus. Until now, there was no problem; he was receiving all my texts, but since yesterday afternoon, nothing at all, while I still receive the delivery receipts.
Hello, I have a similar issue:
I have an LG new chocolate bl20, he has an iPhone, we are both with Orange, and for months now, I receive his good night text the next morning, or even in the afternoon. (That’s a delay of between 8 and 16 hours). This has been going on for months, I’ve changed my SIM card twice, and I’ve switched phones in the meantime. (I used to have a Sony Ericsson k530i)
I have no idea where this could be coming from, and I’m really fed up, honestly.

Same issue on my end. I only receive messages from my boyfriend during the day. After 8 PM, I don’t get anything except calls.
I started browsing a lot of forums ^^ and strangely, it’s not tied to a specific operator or brand (though maybe :s).
However, the problem persists mainly for messages sent to boyfriends or girlfriends, weird, right?!!! I’m going to try contacting Orange or see with a friend in hopes of finding a solution to this b.... Because who doesn't love those little evening messages, right!!! The lack of replies weighs heavily, and it's really frustrating :s Hopefully more news during the day :'(

Hello,
Thank you for keeping me updated on the progress of things.
As for me, the problem is still not resolved. I called the Orange customer service, and they asked me to go to a store to explain my issue, only to finally tell me that I needed to call customer service again...
The only concrete thing I heard during my visit to the store was that I was advised to "request a line reset" from customer service. I did that, and I was told: "Oh no, that line reset doesn't exist." And then they ended by saying (!) "Well, it's not really your place to contact technical support, but rather your contact person." Oh really... Nice way to get rid of me.
How am I supposed to move forward if the advisors contradict each other / don't know what they're talking about?
It's been a good month since my boyfriend (with whom I have the issue of not receiving texts) went to the store himself to complain. Still no progress. The only feedback we've had so far: "Yessss, we have indeed seen that there's a problem, but we need more tiiiiime."
P.S.: Since I posted here, I haven't received any of his messages at all, whereas before it was just delays.

Hi,
I have a problem that is similar to yours. I receive my messages with a delay. For example, my boyfriend will send me a message at 4:09 PM and I only receive it later when he sends me a second message. At that point, I receive both messages at once.
How is this happening? I haven't made any mistakes since it's a new phone and I'm being particularly careful with it.
I'm eagerly awaiting your help!!
