Hello, did you manage to put GTA 4 in windowed mode? I did as it says, created a text document and wrote “-windowed” without the quotes and it doesn't work, please help me! :( Thanks!

Normal, you must have displayed this page by translating it automatically using Google Translate or another tool, "fenêtré" in English is written as "windowed," so you should add "-windowed." ;)

Hi. Yes you can, but there are risks that part of the graphics might disappear... it happens to me sometimes... (you can no longer see the light effects, you can no longer see the sky and you cannot see the smoke or the fire or the water...)

If that doesn't happen to you, you can exit either through shortcuts: press the window key, between control and alt... or if GTA IV bugs (it can happen), you open the task window: ctrl+alt+delete then a window appears, and you click on the GTA IV icon and click on: end task, and it will stop it for you... there are the ways to exit or reduce the window.
