Problème PCMCIA USB2.0 PLANTAGE

Bonjour,
J'ai un gros problème dans ma carte PCMCIA à 4 Ports USB 2.0 32 BITS ,quand je l'ai installé sur mon PC portable Medion (md 9783) avec tout les drivers du cd , quand j'insere ma clée usb TNT EMTEC S810 le pc plante idem pour nimporte quelle clée usb puis des que ca plante je n'arrive plus rien a faire ,j'ai essayé ensuite de brancher la fiche d'allimentation de la carte pcmcia sur la usb1.1 de mon pc toujours un plantage jai bien installé le SP3 de XP (PC bien a jour) mais d'apres moi faudrais il brancher l'allimentation de la carte sur le couran alternatif USB/COURANT j'ai un truc comme ca c'est un chargeur 100-240Volts AC 50/60 hz 0.2 Ampères ece que ca marcherais d'apres vous ??ou le pc exploserais ???ou aurrais il une autre soluce moins dévastatrice ou de le refiler au magasin ou mon pc ne supporte pas (comme chaques fois c'est a moi que ca arrive) l'alimentation du pc ?? Je vous donne les configurations du pc qui servent a quelque chose :
Disque dur 20 GO
256 MO ram (ext à 2GO de ram d'apres le bios)
Pentium 4 2GHZ
USB 1.1 2X
2 ports pour brancher des PMCIA

Bonjour, sur la carte il doit y avoir une indication sur la tension pour l'alimenter. Sur ma carte pcmcia firewire, c'est du 12v 1A, mais n'ai jamais eu besoin de l'alimenter... Meme avec une simple clé, ça plante ?

Pour le moment je n'ai pas encore trouvé la solution a ce problème mais la soluce la plus simple est de mettre a jour le bios mais c'est a la détéction du materiel quand windows installe ses pilotes que ca foire ca viendrais tout simplement de la détéction que ca se fige alors maintenant ce qui faudrait faire c'est de otter les fichiers de l'usb dans Syst32 / Drivers a mon avis

drivers: à partir du fichier sur cd : NEC\Upd720100
presario 2120 eu xp3
j'ai exécuté le fichier contenant les drivers
J'ouvre le gestionnaire périphériques matériels .
Puis je connecte la carte pcmcia usb
à la racine pérpihériques matériels s'ouvre:
autres périphériques
contrôleur de bus USB + ? jaune
sous concentrateur de bus USB
contrôleur de bus usb+ ? jaune
s'y ajoute en dessous un deuxième:
contrôleur de bus usb+ ? jaune
quelques secondes après, ma souris se fige puis je n'ai plus accès à rien, ni echap ni ctrl+alt+supr ne sont efficaces, je dois couper l'alimentation.
Je disposais de 2 ports usb1 et d'un port pcmia mon but était d'avoir 4 ports usb2 à partir du port pcmia
Je me demande maintenant si c'est possible.

Merci pour l'info, bonne idée pour le bios, au fait mon ordinosaure compaq presario 2100 fonctionne nickel, c'est juste ce problème de carte PCMCIA USB qui pose problème, j'ai récupérer la derniere mise à jour du bios sur le site hp

Je pense que le bios pourrais résoudre ce problème , mais il suffit d'une erreur d'écriture d'un fichier pour le rendre innutilisable

Après quelque recherches sur le web :
Apparemment la mise à jour du bios ne règle pas ce problème mais il est recommander de le faire.
J'ai trouver une solution sur un forum en anglais, un peu tirée par les cheveux mais d'après ce que j'ai compris ça marche !!!

SOLUTION
I figured out how to solve this problem. I am running Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. I have a Compaq Presario 2100 and was having the same exact issue with my PCMCIA USB 2.0 card. It would work with my optical mouse, but not with my USB flash drive and external hard drive. It would just freeze up. I would either have to turn off the computer or unplug the PCMCIA card. . I actually bought two cards and neither worked. I called Microsoft and talked to their technician for 2.5 hours. They were not able to solve my problem. I went and surfed Google for a few hours and found this solution by Tinman:

The card I used for this fix was an NEC card. I also have a D-Link card, but haven't tried it out yet.
Here is my explanation on fixing it:
1. Plug in your PCMCIA USB 2.0 Card
2. Let Windows assign all of the drivers.
3. Once it is done, try to use the card with a device that makes it freeze.
4. After it is frozen unplug the PCMCIA card and let windows recover.
5. Now restart your computer.
6. Log on.
7. Click start and right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties".
8. Click the "Hardware" tab at the top.
9. Click on the "Device Manager" button.
10. Near the bottom of the list it should say, "Universal Service Bus Controllers". If you see the "minus" sign next to it do nothing. If you see the "plus" sign click it and you should see the "minus" sign.
11. Right click on "Standard Enhanced Host Controller" and select "Update Driver...".
12. Select "No, not this time." When it asks you about Windows Update.
13. Select "Install from a list or a specific location (Advanced)".
14. Select "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install."
15. When you are given the list of drivers select the one that has the name of the manufacturer of your PCMCIA card. For myself, I choose the NEC driver.
16. It will run and let it finish out.
17. When it is done, it might flash up and tell you there is another driver to install. You will have to go and manually set up a driver again.
18. But first, take out the card and put it back in.
19. You might be able to just click on the bubble in the bottom right and assign the driver that way. If not repeat what you have already done.
20. When you get to the list with the pluses and minuses, find the "Universal Service Bus Controller" with an exclamation point or "x" next to it. Continue on until you get to the list of drivers to select from.
21. For me there was only one choice, it said "USB 2.0 Root Hub Device". Select it.
22. When you are done with everything, remove the PCMCIA card and restart your computer.
23. When you restart and put the card back in, it should all work.
If this doesn't work for your card, I would highly recommend getting an NEC card. I found mine at Newegg.com . If you have further problems you can call up Microsoft for $35 and they will guide you through the problem. I called them back up and told them about the fix. If they don't fix the problem they will refund you the $35. I am posting this on a variety of forums. This problem bothered me so much and I would like to let other Presario 2100 owners have the luxury of having USB 2.0.
