Hello,
I'm trying to update my PS3 to version 2.52. I'm doing exactly what you suggested, but when I select update via storage media, it tells me no applicable update data found. However, I have downloaded version 2.52 from the official site. Help me, I'm going crazy, thanks
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    The absolute path to the update must be (note the capital letters):

    USB:\\PS3\UPDATE\PSUPDATE.PUP

    USB:\\ meaning that the name of the key is "USB"

      Thank you!! For beginners, it means to create a folder named PS3 on the USB stick, inside that folder another folder named UPDATE, and in that folder, you need to put the update you downloaded!
