Hello,
I have an Epson Stylux Photo printer that I have owned for almost three years without any issues. Today, I received the following message:
- "Attention maintenance required elements of your printer are nearing the end of their life please consult the documentation".
This actually concerns the replacement of ink pads. The quoted cost is 138 euros for a printer that cost nearly 500 euros. I learned that it is possible to reset the counter and continue for about 3000 copies. Does anyone know the procedure to follow?
Thank you in advance for your help and responses.

Have you installed this application?
You need to right-click the icon at the bottom right next to the clock, then choose "reset counters" and then "reset all counters"

Don't freak out, it's going to come !!!!!- Hi,
I had installed this application. When clicking on it, a window opened. Here’s what I see after clicking on Ink monitor and then on Head Ink Shots:
- Graphs showing the six colors with numbers on top indicating... the number of uses for each color ????
I wanted to click on Resetter; it asks me to choose my color (I chose black first) and then I can either click on Auto or on a port: 0x278, 0x3è_ or 0x3BC. On the right next to Port, there’s a box with Write. What should I do???
Below Port, there’s Chip Nex which is grayed out, and on the right side, there’s a Check box?
Further down: Address 1...etc, still with a box on the right labeled Read, which is grayed out
Then there’s a checkbox for Check chip presence and a slider. Boxed on the right is Test.
I’m completely lost and on top of that, embarrassed!
There you go. - Hello,
Here are a few explanations about this link:
