Small green dot on my screen

I am reopening this topic to announce some good news: I have completely repaired the dead sub-pixel thanks to UPDixel.

I ran UPDixel on the sub-pixel for 2 to 3 hours each day for a week, occasionally changing the frequency, and oh joy, last night, the green star that was flickering less and less has almost disappeared from the black screen of my sleepless nights!

So it is possible with UPDixel!

I ran Udpixel all night: failed.

Well, it’s not that serious either: my Dell screen is already three and a half years old and a tiny green subpixel looks like a small star of hope in the night! It’s only visible on a solid black background...

I have an extended warranty with them until 2011, we’ll see, but I doubt they'll give me anything for a subpixel.
