Hello,
I have a red dot on the "phone" app on my iPhone and it won't go away despite several attempts (turning it off/on)
What should I do?

    Hello, the red dot on the phone icon indicates a synchronization problem with the visual voicemail on the iPhone (where you can listen to messages).
    This might be due to your connection with your carrier's network.
    If you have a message in your voicemail, the iPhone will not notify you. Therefore, you need to call your voicemail by dialing the phone number of your carrier's voicemail.

      Is Cellular Data enabled on your iPhone?
