Peekton 6750 HDMI Update?

Hello,

I wasn't quite sure where to ask this, so I thought why not in this section.

I bought a Peekton 6750 HDMI DivX player, and apart from any desire to discuss complaints about their PeekBox, I would like to know if there is a firmware update for this player?

I've been looking but can't find anything.

    There is a dedicated topic on hardware.fr
    A member has created a custom firmware that fixes almost all the small issues of the 6750 (synchronization, display of long names, configurable subtitles that are finally readable, with accents and everything...)

    Bjr, why are you looking for an update? Currently, there is none on their site... I got rid of my PEEKTON for a Pioneer DVD/DivX player, so I'm no longer bothered lol have a nice Sunday.

    I have 2 Peekton, one 6700 HDMI and one 6750 HDMI. I'm looking for how to update them; I haven't found anything on their website. If anyone has a solution, it would be welcome. Thank you.

    Hi (and again)
    some people (but it's quite risky...) download firmwares/bios from other manufacturers, you just need to know the chip decoding the DivX format that's in the player. WARNING, this will of course void the warranty !!!!! Only do this if you know what you're doing!
