Hello,
I used to be like some people, I couldn't connect to the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi.
But now, I know how to do it:
- Buy a wireless router
- Have a game compatible with Wi-Fi
- Have high-speed internet
Now connect to the Wi-Fi:
- Go to "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings"
- Go to connection 1, 2, or 3
- Search for an access point
- My access point shows an unlocked blue icon:
You do not need a WEP key

- My access point shows a locked red icon:
You must enter the WEP key: It is below the internet modem (Write it without spaces or uppercase letters)

- My access point shows a locked gray icon:
The Nintendo DS has determined that it does not support the security settings of your router. To connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, you must switch to WEP security or remove the security setting from your router when connecting with the Nintendo DS.

- Perform the connection test

And now you can play online!

And actually, gpritacart is Tiflorg ^^

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello, I have the same problem!

Actually, my wifi connection (through AliceBox) is detected by the DS Lite, but when I run the connection test I get error message number 51300, telling me "The WEP key of the access point you are trying to connect to has changed since your last connection." So I re-enter the WEP key and here we go again: Error message 51300!

So I went into my modem-router settings (Sagem F@st 3302), and I DISABLED the security with the WEP key. In fact, I completely disabled all securities (by checking "None" and unchecking WEP, since WPA was not checked) to see if it would work....

Guess what? New: Error message 51301!!! Which tells me to "check the access point settings and the Nintendo CWF configuration". I went to the Nintendo website, error messages 51300 and 51301 are classified in the same category "WEP key issue". Yet there is no key number recorded!

On the Nintendo website
(www.nintendowifi.fr) I also checked the router model assistance, but by coincidence they don't have my model, just one of the lower models. I still tried to follow the instructions they described (comparing the data with my model), but nothing works: whether it's auto search or manual settings, with or without WEP security, it still doesn't work...

Could it have a relation to the MAC filter? In fact, it is activated but I don't know what it's for! lol

Thanks for helping me (since it's my 9-year-old son's DS, he's starting to believe that I'm useless because it doesn't work! lol).*
