I bought the K1 inforad, it was working and since I updated it, the diode flashes red and inforad manager no longer recognizes it.

I solved my problem by following this procedure:
WARNING !!!!! The Inforad k1 is ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH VERSION 3.5 of Inforad Manager; if you had an older version and updated with this one, you have damaged your database.

Before reconfiguring your Inforad, please fully discharge your battery.

How to reconfigure your Inforad:

- Uninstall your Inforad Manager software from the control panel under add and remove programs.
- Check your C drive and Program Files to ensure no Inforad files remain, as there often are.
- Wait 24 hours before renewing your new installation.
- Reinstall the Inforad Manager 3.5 Software (see procedure below):

If you have a K1, you need to click on "Open or run," and at the end of the procedure, the PC must restart, and when it has restarted, you should connect your Inforad to your PC. When you plug in your K1, make sure the switch is set to "on."

If it is not detected, we recommend trying several USB ports, preferably at the back of the PC.

You will hear a reaction from the PC, a sound (make sure the sound is on), and disable your antivirus and firewall (if you have any).

If you have a proxy (work PC), we recommend opening port 80.

We advise you to always close the software between each detection action.

Hello everyone, to update your Inforad K1, if you have Norton Antivirus, it causes problems.
I couldn't update either. I removed Norton and installed Avast, which is free to download for 2 months, and now there are no problems, everything is fine. Safe travels everyone.
