Hello,
I received a text message from the number 37004. Can someone help me find out where this number is from?

    Hello, isn't there a phone number listed in this text message? If it's a number you know, it's someone who knows you and doesn't have any credit and wants you to call them back. If it's an unknown number, it's a scam.

    After a quick search, this number belongs to France Telecom. You can send SMS messages from your landline.
    The question remains: who is sending it to you?!

      I received a message of this type, I called the number from the message, and I ended up talking to someone anonymous. I'll keep you posted if my bill skyrockets (normally a number starting with 06 should be fine).

        I received a text message from 37004, with a number starting with 06...... that I don't know.

        Actually, if it's a number starting with 06..., that's fine, but if it's a number that redirected me to a special number, super expensive... that's a scam!

    Today I just received one by chance and indeed the number was that of a friend who had a problem with his phone and couldn't call. So it's not a scam.

    I just received a text message from this number, then I checked my bills on my operator's website and they told me I have about €90 to pay. Do you think it's because of this number?

    Wouldn't it be a number asking you to take an "action"? Like call me at this number and then you end up with a phone bill with several digits???

    I just received a text message from 37004 saying "I love you!!" I'm very flattered but I'm not taking the risk of replying, hoping I won't have to file a complaint!!!

    This number is intentionally created when you have no credit! When you try to reach someone and you have no credit, you dial this number followed by the person's number you are trying to reach, and it alerts them that you are trying to contact them, but the person's number must be displayed!

    Good evening,

    I have the same problem as you for almost 3 years. There is a person who sends me suspicious SMS via 37004. Apparently, they must go through France Telecom. I have filed a complaint twice but with no follow-up. Did you find a solution?

    I received one today from this number, the message says "Tu.me.le.fera.voir" no sign of "the 06 xx xx xx xx is trying to reach you, call him back" It smells like a hack, do not respond.

    I just received a message from this number saying: "You're a naughty one, you didn't give me a kiss" but I'm not sure if it's a scam or not.

    It's an unknown number (37004), I don't know it.

      Arf, so it's a scam then. Normally, it's an Orange service where they send you by SMS the number of someone who wants you to call them (usually an acquaintance, lol), but apparently some clever people have exploited the loophole to make money by having people call premium-rate numbers.
