Hello,
I am looking for software that would allow me to print regular labels; the one offered by Micro Application does not work on my Mac.
What can I do?
Thank you for your help.
See you soon.

Hello,
Dede is doubly right: Word does, Neo too...
I'm copying below the help from Word:
Creating Custom Mail Merge Labels
If the brand of label you want to use is not listed in the Options for Labels dialog box (in the Tools menu, click on Labels, then on Options), you can use a predefined label or create your own custom labels.
1. In the Reference Number box, look for a label type that has the same dimensions as yours.
2. Click on Details, then compare the format and number of labels on each sheet (for labels printed on laser or inkjet printers), or the number of columns making up the label form (for labels printed on dot matrix printers).
3. Take one of the following actions:
• If the format and layout of the labels match those of your labels, use the selected label.
• If the format and layout of the labels do not match those of the labels you created, click Cancel, then move to the next step.
4. In the Options for Labels dialog box, check the type of printer, then click on New Label.
5. Type a name in the Label reference box, specify the text for your label, then click OK.
The new label appears in the Reference Number box as Label Name - Custom Note Measure your labels very carefully. The dimensions may be slightly less than those indicated by the manufacturer. For example, a label measuring 2.54 cm by 5.08 cm may have a height of 2.38 cm and a width of 4.92 cm.
Best regards;

Hello,
Word does this very well, but you need to have Word!! I don't know if the "NeoOffice" suite has this function, I believe it does, and since this suite is free, unlike M$ Office, you can download and install it.
In the iWorks suite, there's Pages, which also allows this but, again, you have to pay, albeit less compared to M$ Office. However, some recent Macs have been delivered with it; have you looked in your Applications folder? What Mac do you have?
Personally, I have been using Word for this for years, with all the possibilities it offers.

I'm here, but will I stay? That is the question!!

Indeed, I do have Word, but I don't see how I can print labels from the software?
I admit my ignorance.

Thank you Chris for taking over in my absence, -)
In Word, you can configure the size of your labels if they are not listed, which is very rare; the collection is large in the "Tools/Labels" menu and all major commercial brands are included.

Hello,
I would like to make labels from an Excel file to send out a hundred letters. I have looked through the forum history but cannot find my case, which is quite basic. I have tried a bunch of solutions, and I may have even completed some steps, but I can't seem to put it all together.
So, once again, help?
Thanks in advance.
Have a good weekend, I hope it's sunny like it is here, but it's cold. You can't have it all.

Hello Chris 94,
Your response hasn’t “reassured” me yet, caught off guard, I made my addresses by hand, putting off the chore of dealing with the label problem. It’s a shame, I can’t print the most interesting part of your intervention #5 to study it more easily.
So, I’m digitizing old slides on my new scanner to clear my mind, but I’m coming back just to have the pleasure of ticking resolved.
Ah, if I had a detailed description equivalent to the one I found, I don’t remember how, of the operation on PC, Word-Excel Mail Merge, pagesperso-orange.fr:jeanmarc.stoeffler..., what to do, that would be the dream but where would the pedagogy be, right?
In any case, thanks and see you soon.

Good evening, Mouchoir,
I hope you're not at the point of pulling out your own (handkerchief) for lack of comfort... :-)
What do you mean, you can't print the most interesting part of the aforementioned post? Aside from my wounded pride at the insolence of your printer, I'm amazed! From your browser, no way? Not even by copying and pasting into a text editor (Word, NeoOffice, TextEdit...) ?
I don't have Excel on hand to take a look at the help.

Hello "label makers" ;-)
From Excel, the tool list does not offer the creation of labels; only Word, in the Office 2004 suite (the 2008 version is supposedly a dud), provides this option.
I think it is possible to link Word and Excel to do what the tissue (mouchoir) desires ;-)
