Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to perform an Euclidean division with the TI-30XB)Multiview calculator (image: http://www.busiboutique.com/cgi-bin/prod/sp08/08ET05478.jpg; because I am in 3rd grade and I can't find either the GCD function or that of Euclidean division!! Please help me!!
Thank you in advance.

Just need to have a bit of common sense. You do, for example, 256 divided by 9, that gives you 28.444444, so now you do 9 x 28, that makes 252, and then you do 256 - 252 = 4

No need to have a calculator to do that...

Yes, of course that's what I'm doing!!

But well, it's rather slow... Too bad, anyway the chapter is finished!!

Hello, how can we find the remainder when dividing using the Ti-30xb calculator?

It's easier to perform the Euclidean division when we have the remainder. I have already looked on the calculator's manual but applying it on the calculator is another matter!

Can you please help me? Thank you.

I know, you type example 75 then press the 2nd button and after that the button " : " and you put another number, for example 9, press enter and you will get the quotient and the remainder ;)

Could you please summarize the third one for me? It's been a while, so if you want to do a division of the kind a/b and you want the result to be displayed in the same form?
