Hello everyone,
so I have a little problem, I've read in quite a few posts the procedure to follow to be able to start my PC in safe mode but I can't do it (even though I'm not completely hopeless!!!).
I've tried F5, F8, DEL...
I'm running WIN XP, with an AMD Duron 1.2GHz and MSI motherboard
what should I do.
I'm trying to boot in safe mode because it seems to be better when you want to scan your PC.
Thanks in advance everyone.
Life is good, enjoying it is even better!!!

Normally, you need to press F8 at the beginning of the Windows startup (just before the loading screen). On my PC, it doesn't work every time either. In that case, there's another solution (a bit more direct) which involves forcefully shutting down the computer (without properly shutting down/restarting). After several attempts, it will start in safe mode.
