Hello, after getting a new screen, my parents decided to throw away the old CRT monitor. I intervened with the argument “it would be funny to dismantle it.” A month later, the computer hasn’t been touched (counter strike takes all my time) and during a conversation, my brother tells me there’s gold in the screen. I quickly dismantle it (2 or 3 days) but no gold jumps out at me. So I ask you: where is the gold?
Well, I know there must be a tiny amount (not enough to make a medal ^^) but it’s still nice to have gold... and it doesn’t hurt to try.

Hello
Generally, gold is used for contacts on electronic cards that make up the screen. It's an excellent conductor. However, extracting it, good luck. You'll need to melt the cards and separate the mixed elements (gold, copper, plastic...) all while avoiding toxic products (mercury, phosphorus...)

Aim for the moon, at worst, you'll land among the stars.
Please don't address me formally, I hate that.
