DVD player (working) not recognized by TV

Hello, I'm not sure I'm in the right forum and I apologize for that.

I have a big problem; I have a DVD player from an unknown brand, let's say, and a Samsung TV. Yesterday I watched a DVD, no problem. Today I turn on my DVD player, do what I usually do, and my TV shows "No Signal." So I tried the Neuf TV, which is on the same socket (I have a SCART power strip), and it works. I tried my PS1 (yeah, that's really old...) and it works despite its age.

I tried all the sockets on my TV, all the cables I have, and still nothing. My DVD player works; it makes its usual noise, and I can open and close the DVD drawer.

Feel free to ask me questions; I'll respond as soon as possible.

Hello

I advise against the "Peritel power strip" of unknown operation...
An installation without this type of component should be possible.
(the operation of a Peritel is complex; some wires are used to establish which video source will be taken into account)

Best regards
JC
