Welltech universal remote control help Solved

Question

Hello,
I have had a Welltech remote control with 10 functions model 40085/HTFB85 for 3 days and I want to program my Grandin TV, but none of the codes work except for code 0169, which gives a mixed result since I cannot use the number keys (0-9), as well as the volume +/- and channel +/- keys (when I use them it takes me to channel 0). Moreover, channels 2-3-4-5 are programmed on the directional buttons. I need help or another code.
P.S.: My TV is second-hand, so there's no point in asking for the references as I don’t have them.

Hello,

If it's the remote control sold this summer at Lidl, I just had the experience this weekend at my friend's place and indeed, none of the provided codes work. I performed an automatic search and it worked. The code sent back (by pressing the TV button) is: 140

Everything seems to work including the teletext.

The programming of the channels does not depend solely on the remote control, but essentially on the television.
For the remote control, it is normally sufficient to press the Menu button (sometimes simply M) to access the settings. However,
- Some televisions require a more complex action, such as pressing two buttons simultaneously. It is necessary to have the TV manual to know this.
- It is relatively common that, despite entering a code that seems correct, certain functions are not supported by the remote control, even after trying several codes. There may be partial incompatibility between the TV and the remote control; this usually affects the Menu and/or AV buttons.

Hello,
I've had this remote for about 2 years. I think it's great. Since then, I have programmed two different TVs, a VCR, and a dual-tuner TNT decoder.
The procedure I'm about to describe can only be used if you still have the original remote.
To start, I searched for the code that corresponds best to each device. When I couldn't find one, I randomly chose a code from the brand. I think it would work without a code as well.
Next, I taught the remote the buttons from the original remote that I was missing.
For learning these buttons, I followed the instructions in the LEARN SETUP section. I placed the universal remote and the original one on a table with the infrared faces to face and with a gap of about 2 cm.
Then,
- you need to press the S button until CODE SETUP appears,
- scroll down to LEARN SETUP and press OK,
- MODE LEARN appears, press OK,
- MODE KEY appears, press the button of the device you want to program (TV, DVD, VCR,...),
- LEARN KEY appears, press the button you want to program on the universal remote,
- LEARNING appears, press quickly on the button of the original remote (be careful, if you are not fast enough, LEARNING will disappear and you'll have to start all over again).
- SUCCESS appears and EXIT several times to exit the menu.
Good luck because it takes a bit of patience.
