Hello,
I would like to change my computer and I saw the HP Pavilion Elite m9355.fr, so I would like to know what it's worth, especially in terms of graphics card and processor.
Knowing that I play a few games, watch a lot of movies on it, and do photo editing.
Thank you for your response

Hi,
For €800, you can find much better options with builders (LDLC, matériel.net)
The advantage of a desktop PC is that you can choose what you put inside...

Hello,
If you're set on the brand, the price, and you don't want a custom-built PC, then yes, the choice is good. Although choosing a quad-core might be a bit excessive for your usage. Just keep in mind that you'll be set for a while. The graphics card is in GS, but we're used to that with brands...
I see two advantages to your choice: the first is the remote control since you watch a lot of movies, and the second is that a branded PC is often particularly quiet because their internal layouts allow for better airflow management. (One downside is that it becomes very inconvenient for tinkering inside.) -

I'm sorry, I have another question, how many USB ports does it have? Because I feel like there are only 2?
thanks again -
Perfect configuration I would say and almost at the same price, and if you can have it assembled... forget the HP and follow weetabix's advice
Moreover, the ATI HD4xxx are excellent! -

I'm taking advantage of this topic because my question is the same. I am very interested in the HP m9355, but after reading the various responses, especially the one from weetabix40, I think buying a machine from an assembler would be better.
However, could you please clarify if weetabix40's configuration would suit my usage:
I use software that works with Excel spreadsheets, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Photoshop, Lectra Prostyle.
Thank you in advance. -

Thank you very much Weetabix40!
Apart from the noise (since the speaker seems to be silent according to the seller), what will be the differences in use between this setup and the speaker?
So with this list and the setup, is the PC ready to use?
Thank you -
The comparison between an HP and a custom PC cannot be made.
It's like comparing a LOGAN and an AUDI ^^
Regarding the installation, you will only need to put the Vista CD in the drive to perform the initial setup (guided)
However, if you don't feel capable, you can ask the assembler to install the OS for you (for a fee...)
There are a multitude of tutorials on the net that explain well how to install Vista =)

Hello,
I have a budget of €1000 to spend on a computer (screen, speakers included). I need it for gaming (Diablo (waiting for 3), Titan Quest, Call Of Duty 4, CS 1.6, Mass Effect), for drawing software (Inventor, AutoCAD), for downloading, I watch movies and series, I listen to a lot of music, and I need Wi-Fi. So I've put together this configuration... what do you think? Is there anything that needs changing or improving?
Antec Three Hundred €49.99
Corsair HX - 520W €91.95
Samsung SH-S223Q - OEM, black €25.95
ViewSonic VA2226W €199.95
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E8400 €65.99
Corsair Twin2X 2 x 2 GB DDRII PC6400 CAS 5 €69.89
Sapphire Radeon™ HD 4850 512 MB dual slot €144.49
Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R €109.98
Total €888.20 (+€30 for assembly)
Thank you in advance for your responses. -

Hi
this is what I have as a PC and it's very good, very good graphics card and processor for 200 euros, plus you can tinker with it. I just added a better sound card and overclocked it, it’s now a monster!!!!
