Hello,
A .nrg file is a disk image from the Nero software.
To burn it, you need to have Nero and select "burn an image to disk."
Then, depending on the size of your disk image, you will need to choose a CD (if smaller than 700 MB) or a DVD (if between 700 MB and 4.5 GB).
Hoping I have helped you, I wish you a good evening.
Chris

Hi, there's DeepBurner which is free, and there are paid options: PowerISO (the best in my opinion) which I've had for 3 years and it has never let me down, and there's also Alcohol 120%, one of the best. For the type of CD, it depends if it's an ISO of 700 MB or less, you need a CD-R or CD+R; I advise you to never use RW. If it's around 1.4 G or 6 G, you need DVD-R or DVD+R; the - and + depend on whether your burner is + or -.

Thank you for responding. The file is 690 MB.
Which Nero should I take as there are many? -

Hello, I'm reposting this because I have an issue regarding the burning of nrg files.
I'm following your instructions; I'm burning an image with Nero 8 from my .nrg file.
The problem is, when I insert the CD, it opens a window with the nrg file displayed and doesn't boot the game like it should :'(
Iso ccd works every time, but with nrg extensions, nothing works.
I've tried with:
Alcohol 120%
Nero 8
Daemon doesn't work at all (@_@)
And even with a virtual drive using Alcohol 52%
Does anyone have an explanation? Thank you in advance. -
Do you mean it doesn't do <L'auto run>> ????

Yeah, precisely :s my game is 699 MB The standard size of a game on CD but there is no autorun.
I open the CD and the Nrg file appears despite the image format burning :s and no matter what software I use. -
